At the point when I started reading the book I was already familiar with emacs and had done some coding in Lisp.
I assume that was a big advantage because I really enjoyed working through the book and doing the exercises.
The Alice in Wonderland theme was nice and Clojure as a language is so much better than common lisp.
Richard Hickey is Genius for sure. Just it is a pity that Clojure lives on the JVM but I understand the decision to be compatible to all the existing libraries that you need for a real world project.
